How Does an Automatic Premade Pouch Packing Machine Work?
A premade pouch packing machine handles bags that are manufactured before they reach the machine. It typically feeds, opens, fills, seals and discharges each pouch automatically. The final station layout and filling device depend on the pouch specification and product characteristics.

1. Pouch Feeding
Ready-made pouches are separated from the pouch magazine and transferred one at a time to the pouch holding station.
2. Pouch Opening
Suction cups, air assistance and mechanical opening devices open the pouch before filling. The opening method is selected according to the supplied pouch sample and structure.
3. Pouch-Open Detection
The machine checks that the pouch is open before filling. If an opening fault is detected, the machine can stop the filling sequence or issue an alarm to help prevent material loss.
4. Product Filling
The selected dosing system delivers the required amount of product into the open pouch. Depending on the product, suitable options can include a liquid pump, auger filler, volumetric cup, multihead weigher or linear scale.
5. Pouch Top Alignment
Before sealing, the pouch mouth is positioned and flattened to help create a consistent seal area.
6. Heat Sealing
The top seal station seals compatible pouch materials to close the package. Sealing temperature, time and pressure are set according to the pouch material and product requirements.
7. Cooling and Seal Shaping
Where equipped, a cooling or pressing station helps shape the sealed area after heat sealing and supports a clean finished appearance.
8. Finished Pouch Discharge
Completed pouches are discharged for collection or connection to downstream inspection, coding, cartoning or other packaging equipment.
